Description

The NOV Brandt LCM-3D/CM-2 Cascade Shaker includes a coarse mesh circular motion scalping
shaker mounted over a fine screen linear motion shaker. The lower basket is an LCM-3D, which
stands for Linear Canister Motor - 3 screens and a Drying deck. The upper scalping basket is a
CM-2, which stands for Circular Motion - 2 screens. The LCM-3D/CM-2 Cascade Shaker, located
at the end of the flow line, removes a very large percentage of drill cuttings before the mud is
circulated through the surface mud system leading to improved performance of downstream solids
control equipment.
