Description
INTRODUCTION–MICROWATER TURBINE (MWT) PACKAGE
Background:
2 nos. of MWT packages. Each package consists of 7 MWTs installed in a skid complete with electrical, instrumentation and associated pipings.
Each MWT package is specifically engineered and custom built-for-purpose to supply 24V DC power output to a Wellhead Platform with est. total load of about 4kW.
Designed to work with seawater (although package can work with any other water supply source). Incoming sea water supply is taken from FPSO with excess water availability at 170 barg skid edge routed to subsea pipeline which will be regulated to 10 barg at the skid.
Maximum skid power output is 6kW with 6 nos. MWT running simultaneously. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) carried out in Year 2012 and accepted and signed.
Subsequent design changes on wellhead platform and water availability issues resulted in MWT packages not compatible to be used.
